Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure done to enlarge the breast. It involves placing the breast implants either behind the gland or the chest muscle. Breast enlargement can be also be done by fat grafting which is known as autologous fat grafting.
Breast augmentation is performed to enlarge breasts that are naturally small or to restore the size and shape of breast after pregnancy, weight loss or breastfeeding. It also restores symmetry when the breasts are asymmetrical.
